SEL Ensemble harnesses the power of storytelling to support student growth in Social Emotional Learning.

SEL-Ensemble focuses specifically on outcomes connecting to the skills of self management, self-discipline, interpersonal and relationship skills, and self expression We demonstrate how these skills can clearly be improved with success in a drama or performance experience.

SEL Ensemble launched in 2021 during the Covid 19 emergency when it had become clear students would have an ongoing need for social emotional learning support and our model could beneficially connect with Pre-K to Grade 8 students.

Our Teaching Artists combine years of professional experience in the arts with training in Social Emotional Learning to deliver quality direct instruction that maintains the high standards sought by our partner schools.  We work closely with teachers to assist in meeting their goals while providing a model of true arts integration.
